Born on 22nd January 1963, he graduated in Genoa in 1986 with a dissertation in Banking Law.
Lawyer since 1991, admitted before the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) since 2008, he is specialized in Transport Law (shipping, aviation and road carriage), Customs, Insurance, Commercial and Corporate Law. He has a wide experience in judicial and arbitral cases, also acting as arbitrator, in Italy and abroad, he’s been appointed as trustee’s lawyer in several bankruptcy proceedings and manages Customs cases in Italy and before the UE Courts.
He’s skilled in negotiating and drafting ship building, purchase and chartering contracts, also of yachts and aircrafts, in mergers and acquisitions and in the related financing contracts, ship management contracts, also concerning offshore plants. His experience includes the membership in BOD of primary shipping and logistics Italian companies.

Author of various publications in Maritime, Customs and Banking Law and lecturer at seminaries on Customs and Transport Law.
He’s member of the Italian Association of Maritime Law, of the editorial board of the law journal «Il Diritto Marittimo», of the Propeller Club Port of Genoa and of the Rotary International.
