Born on 22nd April 1966, she graduated in Genoa on 1990 with a dissertation in international law about cargo’s maritime insurance, and was awarded of the Chamber of Commerce prize for the best dissertations of the year. Lawyer since 1993, admitted before the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) since 2008, she published various publications on maritime and insurance law. She’s skilled in both litigation and out-of-Court cases of maritime employment, transport law (both inland and maritime), ship arrests and enforcement proceedings, also of yachts, insurance law, commercial and international law, real estates, commercial law and bankruptcy law.
She’s member of the Italian Association of Maritime Law (A.I.D.I.M.) and of the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (W.I.S.T.A. Italia).
She is author of the publication: “La legge applicabile ai La legge applicabile ai contratti internazionali d’assicurazione marittima”, Dir. Mar. 1992.-
Lecturer at the seminar “La riforma portuale e il nuovo Regolamento concessioni portuali: novità e prospettive”, in Genoa (16 May 2016), Palazzo San Giorgio.
Main expertise: maritime law, international commercial law, insurance law, arrest of vessel, shipbuilding and sale contracts, assistance with the Model 231 especially on behalf of shipowning companies.
